Responsibilities:

Slide is looking for a smart, social-media savvy, excellent writer-type to join Slide's corporate communications team. It's an amazing opportunity to work with incredibly smart people and help make a difference at one of the most buzzed about web companies.  Responsibilities include marketing communications support, research, media and analyst relations, speaking opportunities, blog, event management and corporate collateral.  We are looking for someone who is both extremely capable of executing their current work, and also able to grow into greater responsibilities.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in a relevant profession, including public relations, marketing or journalism
• Demonstrable writing experience, either for print, online, corporate or personal
• Solid understanding and active use of social networks and social media
• An ability to multitask, independently own projects and handle pressure gracefully
• Highly motivated, hard working and work well with multiple personalities

Bonus (but not required):

• A passion for working with and relationships in the press, particularly consumer, music/entertainment and ad trade
