Summary

Slide seeks a Head of UK Sales interactive sales professional to join a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This is a unique sales position with a large focus on developing new and existing national accounts. Sales executives will have experience selling online marketing solutions to brand advertisers. This individual will initially be an individual contributer, selling to UK accounts, and will ultimately build out the UK sales team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the UK sales team
  • Prospect and penetrate agencies and brands to generate a book of business
  • Customize sales presentations using industry trends, case studies, and other market data
  • Evangelize social media and the use of applications to the NY ad community
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics
  • Serve as industry expert in social media
  • Serve as the face of Slide in the European market
  • Provide product guidance to the US-based products team for UK-specific requirements

 

Requirements

 

  • 7+ Years Media Sales
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationships with agencies and national advertising clients An entrepreneurial approach to business.
  • Be able to lead generate new clients.
  • The ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships
  • Youth experience highly desired.
  • Ability to work in a start-up environment where there is constant change and limited resources
  • Experience in & knowledge of social media preferred
  • Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
