This position is responsible for day to day HR administration activities including recruitment, employee disciplinary matters, employee relations, compensation, legal compliance, safety, and coordinating training activities.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct recruitment activities for all staff level and plant workshop openings, including advertising, job fairs, establishing relationships with local universities, screening/interviewing, reference checks, and other essential recruitment steps
- Assist in the development of management training, organizational development, and compensation programs
- Manage all human resource regulatory and legal matters to ensure compliance
- Administer and document all employee disciplinary proceedings including terminations
- Administer the annual merit/performance evaluation program
- Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
- Communicate China HR, compensation, benefits, compensation and compliance issues to the US Director of Human Resources
HR Manager will report to the Shanghai Executive and be co-managed by Operations Manager.
Requirement:
- BA in business or preferably human resources/industrial relations
- 3-5 years of HR experience is preferred
- Must be highly motivated with an outgoing personality and able to develop strong professional relationships with employees
- Fluent in Chinese with basic knowledge of English
