Responsibilities:

• Build applications that will be used by millions of people
• Work on many layers of Slide's products, from front-end HTML to back-end servers
• Work with product managers to determine feasibility and scheduling for new projects
• Implement these new projects, and you will monitor performance

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  
• 3+ years experience in at least one typical web programming language (Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby, etc.).
  
• Expertise in JavaScript/HTML/CSS, including familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, MochiKit, YUI, Dojo, etc.)
  
• Ability to write fast code for extremely high-traffic applications, knowledge of runtime complexity issues.
  
• Ability to design and implement complex object-oriented abstractions.
  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving.
  
• Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as browsers, firewalls, and http.
  
• Working knowledge of source control software (CVS, Subversion, etc.)
